I have the same Problem with a current 1.4 Nightly-Build. I found bug 
3512 ( http://mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=3512 ) which is exactly 
our Problem.

It seems, that you can post and edit your blog, but the server doesn't 
appear in the list.
Please try it out, and answer to this mailing-list, whether this is the 
same Problem.
