Cant connect to Blogger APi Implementations

While investigation problems with MozBlog and our blojsom, I can not get
mozblog (even the latest release) to function.

I defined a new server (selecting other) and enter in all teh details, I
click okay and get the following error

Error (8047002) Component returned failure code: 0x80470002
(NS_BASE_STREAM_CLOSED) [nslScriptableInputStream.available]

I also tried this on blogger.com and got the SAME error

running ngrep while testing show perfect message both sent by mozblog
and returned. (content length, etc. all matches up). ALL other blogger
api clients tested work.. I am stumped.
