Oh, my mplayer is not compiled with the live555 support, but I don't see the
support of rtsp streams.

And if my mplayer is compile with live555 support and rtsp streams support,
then I can use mplayerplug-in to play the stream file?

I test the bbc site all the time. You may want to make sure that your
mplayer was compiled with live555 support and has support for rtsp streams.
