Sorry but I am unable to duplicate this problem here. I do have one idea
that might be causing this. Can you send me the output from the command
line version. I'm wondering if a localized string is the problem and
this lack of match is not taking mplayerplug-in out of non-blocking mode.

Also, I tried this with gecko-mediaplayer and had no issues with it there.
