mplayerplug-in does not play samples fnac.fr because of missing -playlist option

When I go to http://musique.fnac.com/a2173622/ADELE-19-CD-album?SID=d3a631f1-a4af-e938-4be2-abc5c010e082&UID=0774C2DB2-15E4-2D85-E4DD-EAA50D90AB7B&Origin=FnacAff&OrderInSession=1&TTL=200920081548&PID=2
and click on one of the audio samples, mplayerplug-in is loaded, but
quickly goes back to the Stop state without playing anything.

Looking at the debug output, it seems like mplayerplug-in does not
call mplayer with the -playlist option. When I load mplayer -playlist
manually, the sample plays fine.

Should not mplayerplug-in detect that it needs to add this switch
here? I'm using mplayerplug-in 3.50.
