This is what I get:
e@nFs-desktop:~/$ pkg-config --variable=libdir firefox-plugin
/usr/lib/firefox-2

But this directory does not even exist:
e@nFs-desktop:~/$ ll /usr/lib/firefox
firefox/        firefox-3.0b5/  firefox-addons/
e@nFs-desktop:~/apps/gecko-mediaplayer$ ll /usr/lib/firefox

Should I try to solve this by making a symlink?
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/firefox /usr/lib/firefox-2
