Greetings everyone. My company is working on an embedded device that will, among other things, make certain IP cameras available for viewing using firefox. Currently we are only supporting MJPEG streams. We have found that when playing these streams in firefox with this limited hardware, performance suffers greatly. However, when using mplayer from the command line like so: mplayer -demuxer lavf http://<camera ip>/mjpg/video.mjpg Performance is substantially better. Does anyone know if it would be possible to open a MJPEG stream with mplayerplug-in? As far as I can tell this is not possible, since the stream is essentially just jpeg images, and clearly we don't want to associate all jpeg images with mplayerplug-in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
