Still missing various libraries...

please make sure all these packages are installed and try again...

cdbs, libx11-dev, libxpm-dev, libxt-dev, libxul-dev, libxext-dev,
pkg-config, libgtk2.0-dev

That list was take from the Ubuntu diffs.

I'm surprised that configure didn't give you some kind of warning.
