I took a look at the notes below and basically it comes down to this.
The site below is passing an ASX file that only has relative urls for
the media files. So mplayerplug-in is passing the entire ASX file to
mplayer for processing, but because the full path to the ASX file is
missing, mplayer can't find anything.
