I'm using gecko-sdk 1.8 but still:

checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
Using new (v1.7+) gecko-sdk
checking for xpidl... no
configure: error: xpidl compiler not found

However I have xpidl inside the geck-sdk directory:

[root@localhost tmp]# find gecko-sdk -name xpidl
gecko-sdk/bin/xpidl
[root@localhost tmp]#
