half screen is black

hi. when i play some video recorded from dvb-t in my mozilla mplayer  
plug-in, the left half screen is black, in the right one i see a half  
of video. the size is 320x240. if i try to play the mpeg in full  
screen, i see it well, and returnig to the selected size i don't have  
the black half screen, but i see a little part of the video: only  
320x240 from top and left of the video.
