 you don't have to erase your .mozilla folder to work around it : you 
just have to run mozilla 1.4 or earlier which does not support latest 
multizilla and OSXilla, so modern skin is ran instead. Just switch to 
modern skin in preference window (seems that view/apply theme does not 
work at this stage)
