That setting just avoids being asked confirmation if you want to close the window but not if it will save or ask to save the single tab session. This feature has be added by the developer to the latest nightly though. The setting is in the Advanced settings tab | Don't Save Tab Sessions With Only a Single Tab. I'd just like to say again thanks for adding that option. I really like it.
