Since this was mentioned I finally realised what Mozilla does - it seems to open 
certain tree items depending upon where preferences is opened i.e. Mail or 
Navigator. Perhaps, as a compromise to match what Mozilla does (if I am 
following it correctly!) Multizilla should only open the tree item if 
preferences are opened from the browser not the mail component?
