Re: Disable XUL ?

MultiZilla is working!  It's great!  

I'll tell you what I know about getting it to work.  I also 
have a feature request, and a suggestion on usability encouragement.


I tried several things.  I tried uninstalling bannerblind as root.

That doesn't seem to uninstall.  I disabled it.

I copied out my bookmarks and removed my .mozilla directory.

I should have been more methodical.  But that's why I'm a developer,
not a tester... 

It is now working.  I then installed googlebox as root, multi-user.
That is working too.

I'll make a donation soon.



I have a feature request.  I'm not above digging in and doing it myself
but I feel a little green in this area.  I'll see what I can learn, but
I don't have a lot of time for this.

I'd like a zoom widget.  And for the tabs to remember the zoom level for
previously visited web pages or sites.  

ie, http://support.sas.com would have the same zoom level no matter where 
you went beneath it.  

For instance,

http://support.sas.com/rnd/base/index-ods-resources.html

would have the same zoom as 

http://support.sas.com/rnd/base/topics/odsmarkup/



The Last thing that might be nice is a discription of personal preferences
and working styles.  That is what brings all those preference settings to
life.  I'll put one together for myself, maybe an outline would help.
I'll post it later.  I've discovered that working habit's sometimes reveal
good reasons for a feature, and a change in my own habits...


Thanks for a great mozilla enhancement.  Without it, I'd be fairly 
frustrated.   I never thought I'd become disenchanted with Galeon.
But I think it has lost it's way.  On the otherhand I wouldn't have
discovered multizilla which is far superior.
