You're right, of course. I actually found this extension while reading 
MozillaZine's Extensions forum some time ago and this "rue's rewrite" 
version is also listed at ExtensionRoom - that's why I didn't even think 
of the original version which indeed does not have the crash recovery 
feature.

If HJ doesn't feel the need to implement this particular feature into 
MultiZilla itself I even think we could close the concerned MultiZilla 
bug (still can't tell you the number because of obvious reasons) 
referring to Session Saver .2d.
