Okay, I can now confirm with the following steps: 1) Set the home page in edit -> prefs -> navigator to a local file:/// URL. 2) Right-click on the tab bar and select "new tab -> home page" 3) Right-click on the new tab and select "tab home" Expected results: you are taken to the local file Actual results: an error is thrown trying to find a HTTP reference to the file URL, ie: http://file///<path to file> This can be simplified to any tab opened with a file:/// URL, eg by entering to the location bar or a file:/// bookmark.
