MultiZilla is a very powerful extension, and I think that it's 
quite necessary the first time that you install it to go through 
the prefs and change it to suit yourself.  I admit that current 
defaults maybe aren't the best, but feedback from users can help 
us with that.

In answer to the question, you can disable MultiZilla by using 
the QPrefs button -> Extension management -> Installed Extensions 
-> MultiZilla.

If you want to remove it entirely, you'll have to edit the 
chrome.rdf and installed-chrome.txt files as Lewis mentioned.
