Open Apple and New Tabs

In version 1.8.1.0p of multizilla, I no longer seem to
be able to open new tabs with Open Apple+Clicking
Link. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there is
a preference that I am missing on this. It just seemed
to changed from 1.7.9 to this version. 

Any help would be fantastic.
