I made a mistake, I meant the error console not the debugger - I did not see Vincent's message and I do not experiment the problem with this Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080313 MultiZilla/1.8.3.2g Mnenhy/0.7.5.0 As Vincent and you experiment the problem and i do not, i assume that the problem (if it is consistant) may be due to a seamonkey bug. By the way, javascript debugger would help to find out what bugs. . If I understand http://books.mozdev.org/html/mozilla-app-b-sect-5.html there is no menu item and you have to launch seamonkey with '-venkman' as parameter "Invoke the -venkman command-line argument by typing *mozilla -venkman* to start Mozilla."
