1.8.3.5a preference center problems

Just installed 1.8.3.5a in Windows & Linux:

On Windows: Click QuickPrefs, MultiZilla Preferences, the preference
manager opens but the "Cancel" button does not close the window.

On Linux: Click QuickPrefs, MultiZilla Preferences, nothing happens at
all. No window ever appears. If I go the other way, Edit ->
Preferences -> MultiZilla ->  Open Preference Manager, then it appears
(and the "Cancel" button works as expected on Linux)

Opening Tab Manager no longer kills SeaMonkey on Linux. Good job! :)
