Multizilla is 800k+ of code. It replaces or overrides vast chunks of
SeaMonkey code. SeaMonkey 2.x is under rapid development so any time the
2.0 code changes, you would have to update MZ to match. This is liable
to be a Red Queens Race. HJ started MZ back when the old suite didn't
even have tabbed browsing so he has (or had) a detailed understanding
built up over time of how everything MZ+Suite fits together.

Also I /do/ have my own extension to keep up to date :D .

Break down the features in MZ that you really really need into small
bite size topics. Prioritize the resulting list and then file
enhancement bugs against the SeaMonkey component, one bug per specific
feature. Note that multiple small bugs each with carefully limited scope
are much easier to get developer attention rather than large vague
requests such as "Implement Multizilla tabbrowser features".

SeaMonkey 2.0b1 now have session store like Multizilla but no session
manager. The author of the Session Manager extension has promised
compatibility with SM 2.0 though.
