Hm, doesn't work here.  Followed your description, MultiZilla seemed to 
install but it only shows up in Addon Manager before a restart. After 
restart it's gone. Tried multi times, no luck.
user_pref("multizilla does not show up in prefs.js either.

Is there anything special I have to take care of when re-zipping the 
file maybe?
