I know this isn't what you wanted, but its the closes
thing there is for a split screen for SeaMonkey.
Create a bookmarklet out of the javascript below. When
you're on some site, click the bookmarklet. You'll get
a popup to enter a site, then another popup to enter
another site or use the same one. Then it'll split the
current tab into two, and you can view the same site in
the split screens or view two different sites.

javascript:A14nH=location.href;L3f7=prompt('Choose%20File%201',A14nH);
R1Gh7=prompt('Choose%20File%202',L3f7);
if(L3f7&&R1Gh7){Fr4Q='<frameset%20cols=\'*,*\'>\n<frame%20src=\''+L3f7+'\'/>';Fr4Q+='<frame%20src=\''+R1Gh7+'\'/>\n';Fr4Q+='</frameset>';
with(document){write(Fr4Q); void(close())}}else{void(null)}

Otherwise, there is the split browser addon for
Firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4287 .
Perhaps you can find a way to port it over to SM. If
you do, then besure to let others know about it.
