Need help with bug 214672 (libjar optimization)

Hello fellow mozilla hackers,

I need some help with http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=214672.
It does compile and run nicely on my Windows machine.

However, I don't have access to Linux and Mac platforms.

So, if anybody can test this the patch attached to this 'bug' I would be 
pleased.
Furthermore, some performance data on this one would also be nice.

My current estimation is that it saves about 5K code from the current 
30K for libjar.
It should also impact startup time (reducing it...)
