End users just take the binary packages from their distro.
And the out-of-the-box packages are distros too, of course.
So these thing's I'm talking about are irrelevant for those folks.
(just relevant to devs and packagers) ;-P

Actually, not. They're just not called "distro". ;-P

Maybe you've never seen it from that view, but with this little
