Well that's a reason that maybe has power (I wrote to the UK prime
minister about it) to reverse my own decision, however I find it very
very hard to make my own services more vulnerable to DDOS in order to
teach ISPs that I have already switched away from that they shouldn't be
conducting dangerously exploitable activity at layer 7 that they such
as Talk Talk/Huawei certainly are not competent enough to perform.

A builtin letsencrypt wordpress plugin enabled by default would
certainly aid your goal significantly, btw. I had to go to extra
lengths for free!! to enable https on the admin login of a friends
wordpress site despite him having paid a supposedly professional web
development company to set it up,
