@Asa: somehow I'm still expecting a powerpoint ... The about window works as designed. If you want to change its contents, an Add-On might be the perfect way to try it :-) If you like the way facebook or others handle versions, you might file a bug like: "Make firefox a webapplication and move it to the cloud." To get you back to the reality, the average support costs for firefox in entrerprise environments have been rising with the new version management. If the aim to obscure the firefox version from users continues to raise support efforts, it is obvious decisions will be made to cut the resulting costs. The question will be asked, if there really is the need for rolling out a second browser if the standard os browser does well enough. Of cause this will only happen to a few enterprise windows systems, while the majority of millions of private linux installations will happily be forced to update to firefox version MDCXIII
