Why not put the hour and minute there? Seems those would be more 
valuable than the year. Full year, month, day, hour, minute seems a bit 
long. Let's drop the year, month, and day, and just go with hour and 
minute. "Firefox checked and you are using the latest version as of 
11:01 am today."
