I don't understand this question. The add-on is incompatible. Knowing 
the version number doesn't change that.  When we add a "test this 
add-on" switch to the add-on manager (or something similar) so you can 
enable incompatible add-ons, that will help you keep using it. But the 
version number doesn't really help anything here as far as I can see.

Can you explain further what you mean here?
