I think all browser makers have a responsibility to try to keep users 
secure and that means that users at some point need to upgrade. It may 
be the user's choice to not upgrade, but when a user gets infected with 
malware, that isn't just hurting that one user (it rarely does at all 
these days) that is hurting the Web and people all over the world. 
Malware isn't like the silly viruses we had 10 years ago. Now it's 
organized crime building giant botnets being used to extort businesses 
and attack governments.  Users may think it's OK to let their machine be 
compromised, but it's really not when that machine then is used in 
committing serious crimes.

Just something to think about when we think about users on unsupported 
browsers and operating systems. It's not just an individual problem, 
it's all of our problem.
