What a bad idea.

Fix other bugs instead of removing version text from about boxes.

Support people need a simple way to know the version number. Forcing
an already confused user to type something into the address bar (vs
the 2 clicks to an about box) to find a version number is a piss poor
user experience.

Leave the version number alone and fix other bugs that actually matter.
