that is kind of --
your
Updater or some Software Market on any OS should be started
to see - what you have now. It isn't right. BTW - you can't see
easily - what version or brand of GUI you have on Linux, is it nice
and we should relate on these developers or distributors-packagers always?
For Chrome - most of people - probably doesn't know the current version of it
on their system, it makes sense for me, if combined of promotion of
new-super-version
and it's new features on the site.

i think - the updating should not stop because you could want - for
some stupid example -
ship all the portable and desktop versions in parallel,
so i'm kind -- from the camp of - "Versions doesn't matter"
