You keep saying that but I don't necessarily agree with the "insecure"
part of that statement. Using an older version can in some cases be
more secure than using the latest and not necessarily greatest:
introducing new features aka new code also comes with the side effect
of introducing new vulnerabilities. This bit seems to get ignored
completely but it's not something one should dismiss. Yes, fixing 25
vulnerabilities is a good thing but introducing 15 new ones due to new
features and new code is like the dark secret nobody wants to openly
talk about.

Let's face it - we're all professionals here, and quite frankly in my
opinion if we do discuss the pros of something let's not leave out the
indisputable cons.

And thanks everybody for the 5.0 vs. 5.0.1 (and, as it came screaming
back to my head, the 3.6.18 vs. 3.6.19) clarification - I completely
forgot about that.
