I am the senior dev at my company which offers a SaaS web app. During
the course of your 3.6.x updates there were 2 back-to-back versions of
FF that literally broke all html "editors" on the web (that i'm aware
of); tiny mce, fck editor, (to name a couple popular ones) and our own
proprietary editor. It's not a "foolish thing" to roll back a busted
version of FF when sometimes your "bug" changes/fixes are implemented
incorrectly (or in this case w/o warning of such a major change). The
amount of calls that came in would have been daunting to deal with w/o
the ability to quickly address versioning with our clients and
determine what happened to all the FF users. Even with a rollback, a
user with auto-updating on would simply be re-updated, no?
