A studied browse of all the press shows some things:

  (a) Overall the press ranges from "confused and parroting Mozilla PR as stated by Asa" to "disrespectful and skeptical of Mozilla's motivations and ability to execute".

  (b) Overall the readership comments range from 70%-90%+ unfavorable toward the version number change and underlying rapid release causation - with unfavorable reasons ranging from "I prefer the stability of older, more mature releases" to "I want to know what is installed on my system" to "Mozilla is making it HARDER to work with their software" to "I can't operate with this software any longer in my environment", and even the more damning "the product isn't any better today than a year ago and I like *** better".

  (c) Mozilla's PR and Marketing are failing to sell the new strategy (reference skepticism in [a])
