You could also argue that with two different use cases, by splitting 
them apart you can maximize the usability of both.  By making sure that 
each one lives in a distinct space you can focus the interaction tightly 
for one particular problem and avoid competing interactions that might 
distract or even interfere with the one problem you want solved.
