I've never been able to fathom how scattering browser UI controls about improves user experience unless it's thought emulating Chrome UI somehow does it. I typically decide I need to use some control, and before deciding which, am already moving the pointer upper left where all have traditionally been. So here's my reversion, including accepting the limited # of genuine improvements: http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/Moz/ff6vff36-1920x1200x120.png For any who can't tell, FF6 is the fullscreen window, FF3.6 the lower right, and SM 1, which unlike Gecko2+ readily renders pt sized text correctly on accurately configured displays, to the left. OT as to thread, but not to group: Note how Mozilla site stylists fall right in lockstep with most web developers in making most page text smaller than browser defaults, and smaller even than the normally smaller UI text. Certainly neither usability nor respect for users is job #1 for Mozilla's site developers, who offer help by serving up disrespectful (sub-default) and hard to read (reduced contrast) "help" pages. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
