It did, but we had too many instances of people mistakenly opening 
Firefox Help, and asking why Firefox was apparently opening the page for 
no reason. The bounce rate via F1 was 98.2%.

That and their cats would hit F1. :)

So the F1 shortcut was removed in Firefox.
Side-note: The change was checked in to Firefox 4 in November of 2009, 
but it didn't get to users until March of this year when Firefox 4 was 
released. That's almost a year and a half.
