I just tried to do this your way. And you know what I discovered? You
can't upgrade from About->Troubleshooting.
I think taking the version number out of the about box is a bad idea,
and have said why. I think having the version number in one place and
the mechanism to do something about it in another is a UX disaster.
Isn't this why we got rid of Help->Check for Updates in the first
place?
