Metalink and Google SoC participants

The metalink people have Google SoC interns looking to add support for
metalinks to Firefox.

I am posting this here as I think that metalinks are a major innovative
feature that would help separate Firefox from the pack.  Faster, more
resilient, non-swarming downloads are good for everybody, especially when
it's totally transparent to end users.
