The new method of centering images dispalyed by themselves with a grey background is, apart from looking ugly, breaking transparencies. Any image with transparencies is generally displayed on a white background by default. This new set up makes black and white transparencies unviewable.

I am a strong supporter of Firefox over Chrome, but this change might force me to make the move. It hasn't added any functionality, it has detracted from it. Please return it to how it was previously immediately.
