Then I believe you are on the wrong mailing list.  This list is for
discussing enhancements and changes - for discussing what could be.
Discussing what is is inappropriate except as it bears on what could be.

Or at least that's what I thought.  Perhaps I'm the one on the wrong
mailing list.

I think it can be done.  That doesn't mean I'l do it; I won't - I don't
think it's desirable.  (I don't think anything that encourages (ab)use
of HTML as markup in email is desirable.)
