Seconded. I also group projects by window, and often have 10 projects on the go at once. Each with 5-20 tabs. I have to cycle through windows to find a project - and sometimes when I'm out of RAM (currently two instances of FF with 2 hrs uptime are using: (1) 500+500VM, (2) 250+250VM but sometimes goes to over 1GB working set each) switching windows causes page thrashing.. Your suggestion is exactly what I'm after! As an aside, I've resorted to using a second profile (via shortcut eg "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -no-remote -p Daily" to work around the memory leaking issues and to try and sandbox problems (eg high CPU from webpages that run scrolling banners - I use Sysinternals Process Explorer to suspend the process) ----- Original Message ----- From: "humbug" <[email protected]> Newsgroups: mozilla.wishlist Sent: Friday, February 06, 2009 12:07 AM Subject: Tabs grouping suggestion? >I love having many tabs and even extra windows with other tabs :-) > > I use a separate window for tabs related to a particular line of > investigation across many sites.
