Firefox 3.5 deficiencies

I briefly tried Firefox 3.5b4, and noticed that a couple of things were 
missing.  Why was the throbber removed?  I was using that with MR Tech 
Toolkit to open the config window.
Why is there no longer a dialog box to clear private data?  Apparently 
there is no quick way to do that any more, and no way to have Firefox 
ask you first if you want to do that when it is shut down.  Also, 
Firefox trashed my cookies every time it shut down.  What is the big 
idea of that?  I have only cookies that I want, and I want to keep 
those!  It would be nice to have a way to clear the cache when Firefox 
closes.  I am used to having that done for me if I wish, and would like 
that back.
