Check Mail item in pop-up menu for Thunderbird button on taskbar (Windows)

With Eudora, if I right-clicked on it's icon/button running 
in the taskbar (windows), a small pop-up menu contained an 
item for "Check Mail."

I used this constantly as I was switching among running 
programs. I would be any extremely simple thing to add, or 
include as an option.
