Hi Klaus, to clear cache you can use the "Clear Cache Button" addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1801). About your disk quota issue, I suggest to decrease the "offline storage" in the "Options->Advanced->Network" panel to avoid cleaning cache manually. This was present in earlier versions and still in firefox 3.0... In firefox 3.5, you can only clear recent history or do private browsing, which also does not memorize history. But I do not want to clear history, I want to reduce needed disk space and thus erase the cache and nothing but the cache. (I am working on a Linux system with a quota and am permanently near the upper limit. Clearing the cache usually gets me below the quota.) This was easy in previous firefox versions (two clicks) but seems to require you to do the cache clearing manually by navigating to the appropriate directory now, which is a pain in the neck. Is there an option to get the previous behavior back? -- Klaus Kassner ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ wishlist mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/wishlist
