I'd like a menu somewhere that will have a submenu of tagwords from which I can select a specific tagword, and which result will show me that tagword only and, ideally, won't mess with View. The perfect option works across all folders. (The problem for me that I see with changing the View is that I'm already annoying myself by forgetting to restore an occasional view change. Giving me the option to annoy myself in most of my folders by using View, Sort by, Tags is out of the question. (shudder) I'm sorry I didn't think of this sooner or I wouldn't have asked.) Nevertheless, since you got me thinking, if I can find a way to remember to make a copy of tagged messages then I could file them in that one folder by filtering on the tags. Then, messing about with the View won't bother me a bit and your suggestion of View, Sort by, Tags is most welcome. Thank you. :o) (hours pass) I've taken a closer look at filters. My head hurts. I did say I wanted something that would work across all folders. Sheesh. I hate to say it, but I think short of "the perfect option", filtering (whimper) into one folder and using the handy-dandy sort-by-tag function will do what I want. Please, excuse me while I fantasize about having a nice restful coma.
