Certain usenet newsgroups (sci.med.vision, for one; perhaps the rest of the sci.med hierarchy, perhaps even more) are being targeted with similar crap. I read news from eternal-september, and it has exactly the same sort of crap -- injected into googlegroups with forged 'from' headers. My solution is to kill anything posted by anyone who uses googlegroups to post rather than a REAL newsreader. Draconian, but 90% of the posts in s.m.v. were this pharmacy junk.
