I use Opera 10.62, and its tab bar is not in the title bar.  It has 5 
choices for placement: top, bottom, left, right, or off.  I have mine on 
top, but it is above the address bar and below the main bar.  As far as 
its menu bar is concerned, you are given the choice of putting it back, 
which is what I did.
Why should Firefox copy the appearance of some other browser, anyway? 
Can it not be itself?  Does it have to look like a clone of something 
else?  If other browsers such as Chrome have gutted the interface and 
removed a lot of things from there, should Firefox follow suit?  I 
definitely do not think so.
